Likewise, I love referendums, its almost democracy in action. I'd like to see more of this kind of decision making, and less party politics and government driven bulls*** masquerading as representation of the people. Seconded.

The 'In' security argument that we won't have intelligence on people who we don't have to let in makes no sense.

Latest poll results (ave of 6). Very close.... 51% Remain 49% Leave The gap has narrowed from 55/45 in January.... probably as a result of the Brussels' atrocities and other security fears like the hijacking of the Egyptian plane yesterday. Cameron and Osborne's Budget shenanigans probably had a negative effect too.

A lot of the "In" camp arguments don't make a lot of sense to me.I am firmly in the "Brexit" camp. In terms of the polls, whilst they show the "Ins" slightly ahead there are a lot of "Undecideds" and there is a while to go before the referendum.

I reckon the facts busting the 'myths' can also be busted. They all seem very subjective and use carefully selected stats. Edited by johnfirewall (30 Mar 2016 11.36pm)

The arguments are the exact same as the Scottish referendum.

Nigel Farage's straight talking! Difficult to argue with anything he says in this speech. Both Merkel and Hollande look very uncomfortable listening to a few home truths.

There is one fact which trumps all others in this debate. The Union was conceived by countries who had had two devastating wars in Europe in 30 years. their belief was by working together in one economic union, there would be no more wars between the big powers of Europe. There hasn't been any. I'll be at the ballot box first thing, to back the continual peace of Europe, and make sure my sons don't ever have to take part in war like my grandparents did.
