Certain parts of the country will have the feeling it’s been taken over and a way of life and values completely changed, because people there have no desire to integrate and 7/7 and other terrorist atrocities did actually happen and could happen to any one of us without any intervention. Perhaps you’ve missed the the Wahabi videos saying it’s nothing to do with anything other than they hate us and what we are and intend to destroy and change it.

Momentum? Do fvck off. More like destruction.

Is the truth 'hate speech'? Dear God, you must be a parody account.

There's a lot more truth in what he says than in what John McDonnell ever says....I'll tell you that.

Tommy Robinson has been the only public figure....and I'll repeat this....He has been the only public figure to stand up and say that the changes the politicians have forced onto this country are not accepted by a large demographic in this country.

So Mo Farah is wrong to say he feels like an alien in his adopted country because according to the oracle that is Tommy Robinson (ffs even his name is false), "the people from your home country are backward barbarians."

That isn't hateful because apparently it's just the truth. So nobody should find it an unacceptable way to describe Somalis.

But of course it isn't the truth. A cursory glance at google proves that the statement is simply false. Not only that but it is defamatory and encourages hatred towards people from Somalia.

Orwell wrote Notes On Nationalism which was published 6 years after his return from The Spanish Civil War. In it he describes the nationalist's obsession, "The smallest slur upon his own unit, or any implied in which, praise of a rival organization, fills him with uneasiness which he can relieve only by making some sharp retort."

"He will show great sensitiveness about such things as the correct display of flags, relative size of headlines and the order in which different
countries are named."

"All nationalists have the power of not seeing resemblances between similar sets of facts."

I'm not on here trying to persuade anyone to alter their views. But I do seem to be quite successful at winding up a few nationalists and that is all the gratification I need.

I've read here the meme about 1984 being a warning not an instruction manual and the continuous references to authoritarianism. I wonder how much Orwell people on here have actually read as his message certainly doesn't appear to have been properly understood.

So roll on your sharp retorts, the indignant jingoism about flags and the inability to recognise the resemblance between similar sets of facts. It's all water off a duck back to me.

He's just left Ukip because he says it's gone too anti Islamic.

Farage has said some things against Islam but now he appears to be disavowing that.

'A cursory glance at google proves that the statement is simply false.'

Explain.

What Robinson said there was a catch-all even if it wasn't meant to be and so it's used by the weasels to criticise him. However not one of those weasels would relocate and live in Somalia.

So what Robinson said was more true than untrue.

I'm a nationalist or maybe it's more accurate to say I now value my identity..... but whatever I think of nationalism that does not mean that nationalism is beyond criticism....far from it....Every political ideology is there to criticise because every ideology is human and hence very fallible.

I've no problem with that personally as long as you aren't swearing and threatening violence. Perhaps you should reflect upon that fact....that's it's the right where you get to be allowed to wind up and say what you think.....whereas it is the power players on your side of the political fence that censor and ban easily.

If you think Orwell would have happy with how the far left are operating I think it's you who mistake his message.

Orwell was nothing but anti authoritarian and while I do not claim support from him for nationalism I can certainly say he made it very plain that he doesn't support authoritarians of any kind......and it's the left who are currently using 'language control' and 'thought policing'.....two aspects he was very clear on.

To want limits to immigration is not hate speech or even that nationalist. I'm not at all interested in flags. However, I don't want any more Somalis moving to Britain. I don't believe they are all backward barbarians and can see how that could be described as hate speech.
I will be explicit about my reasoning on Somalia and indeed most non-EU immigration: they add nothing to the country (unless they have specific job skills we require) and are likely to be a burden to the state and ultimately me - the tax payer.
I have also stated before that I believe many elements of the Islamic faith are not compatible with very cherished, and hard-won, Western European values. I also do not see much evidence that integration has worked at all.
I am not right wing at all. In fact, there is absolutely no way I would ever vote Tory and I am active in my trade union.
I just can't agree with this 'everyone is alright', 'the more diversity the better', post-colonial guilt narrative.
I'm not talking about raising the draw bridge. Perhaps proper border controls and much better visa and immigration checks would be my starting point. And yes, I would deport illegal immigrants - I just don't see them as my, or your, problem. I apologise for my lack of charity.

Woooo!

I'm not really sure what nationalism has to do with anything really.

We are part of a nation yes. We have borders, a tax system, laws, and a lifestyle that has taken hundreds or thousands of years to evolve, depending on where you would like to start. We have a mostly secular mentality and a democracy which is at the centre of all that.

We all have a vested interest in protecting it from elements that might damage it or disadvantage its subjects. This is all accepted common knowledge. Nations have evolved from the tribalism that is inherent in human nature. Nothing new or surprising there.

So tell me. What is this comic book 'nationalism' you speak of? I don't know what it means.

It sounds like one of those ideological delusions that Lefties bang on about. The sort of thing that comes from reading too much propaganda and believing the steady drip of indoctrination.
