And we did, and we were fully aware it was an 'economic and political' union as Wilson and Heath said.

That is what they said, as you can clearly see.

Maastricht.

More crap from you as usual.

The article that you linked to states that Mrs May is to ask for an extension not that one has been granted but when has the truth ever been part of your agenda anyway

I was just reading an artical on chlorinated chicken and how it's more the food rearing standard that is the problem with USA chicken which brings on more bacteria and that the chlorine is not harmful.
It made me think however when people argue halal meat is un ethical we get told "Well don't buy it then"
Why shouldn't the same apply to USA chlorinated chicken?

There is nothing harmful about chlorinated chicken at all so I don't know why people are making such a fuss when no-one has mentioned the American idea of stuffing cattle with hormones

I hope that Mr Barnier and the EU takes a hard line over the article 50 extension. From their viewpoint the UK and specifically Mrs May has mucked them about for 2 years so why should they be nice to her now.

The EU will rightly argue what is the point? Mrs May is like Mr Mawcawber hopihg that something will turn up. So unless Parliament passes her dreadful bill this week they should say no in the interests of the EU. After all they have bigger problems to worry about such as the EU economy and the up coming European elections. Of course this could all be a cunning plan by Mrs May to run down the clock, she may be thinking of her legacy and her promise to the electorate to take us out and faced with a Remain parliament this is her answer.

If the EU do say no or set unacceptable terms that means by default we leave on 29 March under WTO rules.

So everybody wins.......

Of course we will have a choice. I don't see chlorine washed chicken as an issues as most of our ready to eat salads are already using this chlorine cleaning process
