The French Populists are on course to win the European election.
Their leader, Jordan Bardella said, “We are going to fight to go to the European Commission to reclaim our four levers of sovereignty that are to us essential. Our borders, economic and legislative sovereignty and budgetary control”.
Sounds vaguely familiar.

Nationalistic Populism sells

Could that be because people agree with it?

Wouldn't you want to earn less, buy nannas for peanuts and not be able to see a doctor for 3 weeks to avoid having to wait an extra 20 mins at passport control?

Hah. Well when you put it like that I’d definely had it all back from the couple of times a year I go to Brussels.

I wish remainers like Pussay who take more notice that what goes on around them than read article after article online and then claim other people people are brainwashed.

I’m not sure why people like it so much. It’s a rubbish organization,

The clue is in the name. You can’t call something populism and expect it to be unpopular.

I know right! Funny how the left only like democracy when it suits them.

I think it's just a shame that people are seduced by divisive, blame politics and issues that have no effect on peoples lives. Doesn't entice me to the ballot box. I'm more interested in parties that have a positive message and want to improve living standards, health and education for everyone. I'm quite keen to see what the new Change party have to offer....
