I am sure that the point has been already raised but what do this 'Change' party actually want to change? All I see is a party that could not be more pro the status quo if it tried.

And Gavin Essler. That is beautiful. Truly beautiful.

Apparently the Change party people have had enough. It's a funny saying because people who had enough always seem to want more.

I note that despite the earlier vote, the Conservative right would like a second vote to remove Theresa May. Apparently things have moved on, the situation has changed since the original vote and it is now unacceptable

There must be more to it than that?

It's like starting a new party and calling it the 'get elected' party

What is the Change party's strategy pre and post Brexit?

Thanks for your interest

This joke gathering officially registered as a new politcal party, under the moniker Change UK.

CUK......You couldn't make it up!

I read that and it could have been from the Labour or Tories, same old bull.

So do you think our political system is fine as it is?

I think more and more people feel disenfranchised with politics and don't buy into traditional left and right ideology anymore, that's why I think there are low turnouts at elections and higher percentage seem to be the older demographic who are probably still traditional Tory or labour voters, but they are, forgive the expression, a dying breed, plus the house of Commons seems to resemble a playground of political infighting where our politicians seem only interested in playing party politics. As a result, the brexit process has become a complete farce, they seem incapable of of resolving this issue and the uncertainty is jeopardising the future of our country, the political system is not fit for purpose, it is stuck in the past and is no longer representative of us and our society.

It's time for change

I don't disagree with any of that. But let us be honest here. The only 'change' this lot want to bring about is that our votes are no longer valid.

I despise this 'peoples vote' nonsense. I actually have a modicum of respect for those who just want to repeal Article 50 because they make no bones about having no truck with the democractic process and see it as no longer fit for purpose. I disagree but can appreciate the honesty.

But Chuka and his pals are not about change. All they want is more of the same i.e the same professional political class riding roughshod over the rest of us. What they dislike intensely is that 52% actually voted for REAL change. That 52% of us rejected what the mainstream political classes were telling us.

Brexit is the real change option.

Yes, it's a pathetic attempt to regain the trust of voters.
The people have already spoken and politicians have their hands over their self serving ears.

Where does it say votes are invalid?

They want a confirmatory referendum, what's wrong with that?

It is assumed that change is change for the better. You want Brexit regardless of whether that change is better than remain. That's why we have an impasse

It should be that the case for leaving should be obvious and compelling, otherwise if there is doubt, a confirmatory referendum should happen. Perfectly fair and logical
