Yes the desperation trying to stop him is amusing.

It is. And also so s***. As has been the entire 'Remain' campaign ever since it got its arse handed to it on June 23rd.

And part of me struggles with that. Because they are meant to be the bright ones. They are meant to be the ones who went to University, who have the best jobs and who live lives' of comfort and ease. Yet they are thick as f***.

If we frame this as the Establishment v the rest of us, then the Establishment are actually not very clever. All we have had is insults and belittling and generally nothing other than the sort of abuse guaranteed to ensure that people carry on supporting Leave purely because that is how human nature works. You catch more flys with honey than s*** and yet all we have seen from those who supposedly have tasked themselves with persuading us thicko Leave types to change our minds is nothing other than every shade of excrement going.

It may reflect my own circles but the only people I know who have changed their mind about how they would vote if asked again are those who voted Remain first time around. Not because they think Leave has the stronger arguments but purely on the grounds that we had a vote, a majority ticked the Leave box and that needs to be honoured. That is how the game is played. Fair enough to me.

But these Remainer types still banging on about it are either stupid in a way that beggers belief or else the Establishment, for whatever reason, actually want us to leave.

Good post. I have said this many times I can't believe how bad the Remain campaign was prior to the referendum and it hasn't got any better since. If they want to change peoples minds they have to stop the scare tactics and start talking about the benefits of remaining in the EU.

And as you correctly pointed out they delight in telling us we are uneducated and stupid (well maybe I am ) so please get out the drawing crayons and dumb down for me why I should stay. So far all I hear is idiots like Hammond claiming that the referendum is being hijacked yes Phil by the losers.

There was no Russian collusion by Trump. Mueller found nothing direct he could tie to the president and made no recommendations for prosecution. These are not denials but facts. I have since read the report and know just how the democrats and people like you spin to gain as much false narrative as you can.

The only thing that Trump can be said to be guilty of is of requesting what could be framed as obstruction....however this wasn't carried out so again there is nothing actionable....I agree with the president making the job of those unethically looking to overthrown him as difficult as possible.

It's you and Maine who have since before the report was published and since who have been pushing conspiracy theories and peddling falsehoods based upon your wish fulfillment.

No collusion and you are a conspiracy theorist.

To repeat, Mueller did not exonerate Trump from either "collusion" (which is not actually a crime) or obstruction. He made no judgements because that was not his role. It is either for a Judge to make, once Trump leaves office and is indicted, or for Congress to make if he is impeached prior to leaving office.

So you are 100% wrong to claim, as Trump does, that "There was no Russian collusion". There were just no Russian collusion indictments issued against Trump by Mueller because there were NO indictments of any kind issued by Mueller naming Trump because of the DoJ's reluctance to indict a sitting President. There have though been many indictments of Trump associates which also have Russian connections, alongside indictments of some Russians. No conspiracies involved. Just rock solid fact. There are others still in process in other courts, witnessed by the redactions.

Congress is now seeking to dig deeper into the background by following up the lead given to them by Mueller. Trump's blatant obstruction of their oversight role is plain to see, aided and abetted by a compliant AJ. The latest being him issuing an instruction to Don McGahn not to testify, using the flimsiest of excuses.

Are these the actions of an innocent man who just wants to be left alone to do his job?

Surely an innocent man, with nothing to hide or fear, would allow unfettered access to everyone and everything, clear up all doubt and make a fool of his accusers!

I know what my conclusion is and I think most objective observers come to the same one.

So we have an in-out question in a legal legitimate referendum and now the chancellor Hammond says we must not bow down to right wing populism.
Excuse me, we voted out!

Exactly what do you think a "legal legitimate referendum" is?

Only Parliament legislates. They did that when they triggered Article 50 and they can do it again if they decide to repeal that legislation.

You voted out. I voted in. You had slightly more who agreed with you in 2016 but a lot has changed since then and, after a great deal of effort, Parliament still cannot agree exactly what form our withdrawal will take. That some right wing populists want a particular answer doesn't mean that Parliament must agree with them.

So Hammond is 100% correct.

I've heard your argument millions of times in different ways and words, its borring.
We voted leave, not a deal. We voted a government into office with a leave manifesto, May has said over 100 times we are leaving,a majority voted for artical 50.

We are leaving and it's you and your type that have brought on the problems We have.
Sore losers.

populist
noun
1.
a person, especially a politician, who strives to appeal to ordinary people who feel that their concerns are disregarded by established elite groups

So, we could say both wings, hey Wisbech with your impartial points of view...

Again, Wisbech just because you think it is so, doesn't mean it is...

You're right obviously about the legalities of the referendum, it's just integrity that you struggle with...

Trump doesn't impress me - but you are a carbon copy of him- denial, self importance, pompousness, undermining those who have s different opinion to your warped one.

You also, love to speak on other people's behalf...
All Cornwall folk are wonderful, whereas Wisbech wierd...

As far as I can see from your posts - you have absolute no credibility...

I getting bored with repeating myself while you do your usual dancing around playing with terminology.

Here is a link to a podcast by Sam Harris (no fan of Trump). The podcast is called, 'What Does the Mueller Report Really Say? (with Benjamin Wittes)'.

[Link]

That formed my view as to what is actually actionable. Now unless you have something new to say on the matter go and bore someone else.

We know the answer, it's because the Police have been infected politically at the decision making level and now operate double standards.
