He may not be part of the official polling staff but this type of intimidation has to stop or next you will have soldiers coming to your home to escort you to the polling station. Whoever did this must get a stiff sentence so the public understand that interference in our electoral process is unacceptable. Our elections are based on the acceptance of the public for the process if that goes god help us.

It’s ridicule and embarrassment rather than any actual pain. Depends on the context and what she said, but yes, in the right circumstances Anna Soubry covered in milkshake could be amusing. Justified? Probably not. Funny? Probably.
