I voted remain as my boss at the time said I'd be out of a job as leaving Europe would bring another credit crunch.

I bearly got through the last one by the skin on my todger!
I'm self employed now and I run a gang of brick layers. I would vote leave now as I think it's disgusting how they have treated us since the referendum.
How anyone can watch Jean Claude Junker behave like that, drunk and disorderly,on our money and still want to be a part of the EU is beyond me.

Don't know about that although I do avoid buying Irish beef in Sainsburys as it's always tough as old boots you won't find me eating Argentinean beef even though people rave about it.

What happened?

He was a Scottish bloke proper labourite/ SNP through and through and convinced us that if we voted to leave then we'd loose all the big contracts we had and theired be a recession so we all voted remain. Surprise surprise it actually went the other way and he got more work if anything. Got it wrong just like media.

I quit there as it was all house bashing and set up on my own doing well now more bespoke masonry for university colleges etc my wife does the paperwork as I'm not great with writing as you can tell but practicing to get better. Would vote leave as I think they showed their true colours. They'd struggle without us and they know it.

Well done for going it alone and best of luck for your future.

You ought never to make judgements which will affect future generations on cyclical ups and downs, which the building industry is particularly affected by.

Leaving the EU will not only have a short term impact it will inflict long term damage to the UK, it's position in the world and our consequent economic prosperity. A true judgement won't be possible for 20 to 30 years from now during which time I see the UK breaking up with Scotland re-joining and enjoying significant economic success relative to England and Wales. I see the fight for a united Ireland resuming in earnest and a much greater probability of that happening as Eire will look a better prospect than England as an economy.

England will have no obvious role. It's financial services sector will largely emigrate to France and Germany. Back office functions to Scotland and Ireland. Manufacturing has already fled. Our innovators will still innovate but unless we become a low wage economy their products will not be made here. Do we really want to be a low wage economy?

We ought to remain a member but at the very least we need to remain, via a deal, aligned in the closest way possible to EU standards and no tariff barriers.

Those arguing we jump off the cliff edge with their eyes shut and their pockets full of nothing but optimism are nothing less than either stubborn donkeys or political opportunists willing to sacrifice their country for personal ambition.

This is why Parliament must, and I trust will, act to stop Bogus Johnson.

The EU has done a deal to bring over cheap meat; meat that wouldn't reach our standards and meat produced in areas that should be protected, and royally f***ed over Europe's farmers. There is no coverage of protests here - although they have forced slaughterhouses to shut down. Presumably the French farmers aren't too happy either.
I remember being on holiday in France and there was (another) French farmers' protest. They had blocked every road. They let us through when I said 'Je suis un vegetarian' or whatever.
Obviously not true but needs must.
So don't worry about meat changes with Brexit; the EU was already going to shove some cheap crap down your neck anyway. Mercator is the deal if you haven't seen it.
