Surely the question of right or wrong needs to be decided by our representatives. We cannot be entrusted to decide for ourselves.

On questions of opinion, yes.

On questions of fact, no.

Truth is truth. Facts are fact. Lies are lies. There is only one opinion on such matters.

Rather like the remainers, yes?

If you read what I wrote then you will understand why it's not.

The Brexit referendum produced an almost equal split result between two opinions.

This matter concerns what is 100% true, as confirmed by the links he referenced, and the untrue claims he made which I repeated to him in his own words. This was never a matter of opinion.

All of this is quite obviously of no importance whatsoever in the bigger scheme of things and, although I don't remember ever saying so before, I guess sometimes the result is more important than the way it is achieved. Nevertheless blatant lies need to be called out. Isn't the expression that a lie can be halfway around the world before the truth has got it's boots on?

and you dont have to be that bright to be an MP...see the Peterboro MP and Diane Abbott for proof of this

You get thick MP's like her because it's not worth it. Compare it to a CEO's wage and its pants.

Your correction as you call it is wrong. I did say in answer to your original question that Gina Miller was originally funded by money she did receive from the group Soros paid into and now gets funded from begging from the public. NOTE: [Link]
What is so hard for you to understand ???????

You are the one in the wrong.

I said I would leave you to wallow in your own mess and after this I really hope I can,

What you say above is yet another lie.

It's NOT what you said. You said Soros funded it personally. See my post at 11.10 this morning which quotes your own words.

That wasn't the link you used either. The one you did use was from an earlier article which confirmed what I told you. That the funds to "Best for Britain" came from a Soros funded foundation. There is no evidence that "Best for Britain" help fund any of the Court cases, which have all been crowd funded. "Begging" is just Express hyperbole.

As I have suggested many times I really think it would be wise for you to stop digging your hole.

If you think what you said was funny then don't change your day job to become a comedian.

My sense of humour is perfectly fine. I just don't find much to laugh about here. Much more here makes me feel very sad at how so many know so little about our democracy and how it works. It's all very sad.

Tbh wissy.
Your dog needs to be trained to find the pub and get lost in there.
It would surely take at least three pints and a bag of peanuts to find him.
Then point the finger at him when the old lady starts asking why his walk took 2 hours.

Maybe some the mps who are fighting brexit were doing it originally because they could see leaving to be bad and not a benefit in any way.
Could they actually see it wont be that bad but are too far gone to recoup any credibility if they do an about turn.
Pride can be a weakness.

A lot of philosophical work has been done on things like this and it is far more complicated than that. But don't worry too much; I won't bore everyone with the debate. But, off the top of my head, Plato's treatise on truths is probably the starting point.
Brexit seems to have few facts: I guess one fact is that the referendum result was leave. Another is that it hasn't happened. But certainly wouldn't be too sure about some so-called facts.

I guess another might be that there is a difference of opinion on what "leave" actually meant!
