Nope ,deal with it, we all have our faults,
Yours is being pathetic, not your fault.

Everyone has faults, we can certainly agree on that. It's the ones that have the ability to address them but choose not to that are truly pathetic.

I'm gonna say this once. If BJ gets this over the line and we - at least technically - leave before the end of the month the Tories will regroup and keep power for some time. BJ will have earned it. Labour will implode as all their factions combust corbyn gets ousted and the moderate parliamentary party spend the next 5 years in opposition wrestling power from the fruitloop left. Meanwhile the lib dems moment will have gone and they will disappear into the political abyss.

That said things wont go entirely as the ultra right posters on here would hope. BJ works for BJ and he cannot continue to operate as a voice for the ERG and the rest of the swivel eyed loons. They will have served their purpose and will be conveniently sidelined as he pursues an esssentially liberal agenda.

Those hoping that leaving will result in the working population moving into a low wage zero hours market living purely to pay taxes to fund their generous pensions and other benefits will be sorely disappointed.

Immigration will be bearly touched as most of the economic migrants you detest are non EU and the issue was never free movement or laissez faire regulations but our under resourced sieve like border controls. That issue will grumble on.

There is also the risk that us remoaners were right all along and that our predictions of doom were not just project fear. Sadly unless a sensible centrist labour party emerges thank of effective opposition will mean more years of hung parliaments and political stasis.

One thing is certain - none of the other 27 would be dondaft as to follow our lead unless there is a clear and obvious surge in our economy and living standards.

Mostly agree with this. Still pretty sure that the negative effect won't be as bad as predicted with a deal. Potentially will be a bit of a rebound for the first few quarters as everyone realises that they can commit to the economy again, then after that bounce we'll see the reality. Ironically if there is going to be a recession the bounce might help us fight against it. It's the period after that that I am most interested in, once everything has settled. Then we'll see who was right/wrong – will the EU have collapsed by then? No. Will we be outperforming the big countries? Maybe, maybe not. A lot of unknowns

Keen for a points system on immigration though. But pretty sure the govt will find a way around it being too restrictive, so might make negligible difference to the figures in the long run. Maybe a 5 year period of decline before they think, right, we've held on long enough, let's turn it back up again. Otherwise growth will stagnate. Same old smoke and mirrors...

Are you suffering from dementia?

Go back to your own posts of a month or two ago and read the stupid claims you were making about the future development of the EU that you said were in the Lisbon Treaty. As several posters then pointed out these are all nonsense conspiracy theories bereft of fact.

I have noticed several instances recently where you are hugely distorting what I say.

It helps if you read things in full.

Do you not think it could be the emotional link to the UK that caused leavers to vote leave.
I doubt many would be rubbing their hands together with a glee that 'good old blighty' will be independent and on it's own; like 100s of years ago, aside from the fact that we are all thick.
BTW Do you know what the EU had planned for the next four years or so.
I think your clutching at straws about this.
It does seem like a bit of tarring of leavers as far right nationalist bigoted individuals.
Its loaded dan and steeleye, fill your boots.

What has that got to do with the question I asked?

An actual answer rather than more of the same old self justification might take us forward.

I would though be interested to know what you think the EU has planned for the next four years. Once that's known we can check it for truth and if untrue try to see where the fake story has come from,

Good post, which is a rarity on this thread.

Amazing that the remoaners always said voters can change their mind but then get angry when politicians do.

I'll enjoy my gammon tonight xx

The knots people will tie themselves in to claim a ‘win’ is quite something.

Boris changed his mind, I’m sure.

How are you going to do that? Are you in the EU "inner circle" and know everything they plan (some of which may not even have been discussed yet) or will it be if you don't agree with it it can't be true?

I see that you are a disciple of the "attack is the best form of defence" posting style.

I may distort some of the more stupid things that you claim but surely that's better than distorting the truth as you frequently do

"Did people who voted leave, do it because they wanted to break up the UK" in not so many words is your last line.
Now read my first line.
