I don't see any "hard core" Remainers. I see people who have always thought that remaining was better but who accepted Parliament's decisions.

You have excelled yourself Wissie, let me give you a little help:

The SNP, The LIBDEMS,The GREENS, Ken Clarke, Anna Soubry, Chuka Umunna, Dominic Grieve, David Gaulke...just for starters.
Don't say they have accepted Parliaments decision as the LDs have already stated their intention is, if there was to be a 2nd referendum and leave won, they would not honour the result as their aim is to cancel Brexit.

For all those who don't believe that advertisements and social media activities make any difference, this is what Carole Cadwalladr posted on Twitter yesterday:-

"MPs, as you prepare to make history, know you do so on basis of a corrupt & illegal vote. Know that in any other election, the result would be set aside & election re-run. Below is will of the people - flipping at exact moment Cummings/Johnson unleashed their illegal ad storm"

Check this link for the evidence of the impact:-

Carole Cadwalladr, in case you are unaware, is the journalist who exposed the Facebook–Cambridge Analytica data scandal.

Do you really wonder why people question the integrity, honesty and motivations of Johnson?

If it's illegal then why has the court not set the decision aside. Why has she not complained to the Electoral Commission. Where is her evidence of corruption? If it's so significant to impact the vote why have the courts and or parliament and or the Electoral Commission not called for a re-run.

This is pretty desperate even for Remainers. I guess you could call her claims fake news, oh that's ironic!

What on earth are you wittering about?

The people outside Parliament almost certainly come from a variety of backgrounds, both those supporting remaining and those supporting leaving.

Which has zilch to do when anything I posted. There is nothing hardcore about wanting the best for your country and it's citizens. There are plenty of strong opinions and passion on both sides.

as most of them are remainers I doubt your assertion, wissy..How on earth are they able to be there EVERY day if they have jobs?? Therefore they are Hardcore in my opinion (which believe it or not is as valid as yours)...suppose if you didnt live in Cornwall you would be there too, giving them the benefit of your 'experience'?

I don't pretend to be able to read minds.

What I am confident about is that most MPs are very much more devoted public servants than you give them credit for. Especially those who won't be seeking re-election and can express themselves freely and without any need to look over their shoulders.

I have met several MPs in my time, all Tories, and all good honest people who tried to do their best.

i had a good friend who was on first name terms with Michael Meacher and she thought he was a wonderful guy, totally committed to his job and not the least self interested.

Those too cowardly to seek reelection are just scared of being humiliated in a GE, wissy, no other reason...Letwin Soubry and many others are toast at the next election and they know it!!. ALL of them including your friend MM are self serving individuals unfortunately!!

This little tete-a-tete pretty much sums up the whole of Brexit up to this point for me.

Whilst I agree with you in principle I don't think that Letwin is standing again so he will have to fund repairs to his tennis court himself in the future.

Soubry on the other hand won't win another election in her current constituency as whilst they voted overwhelmingly to leave Anna Soubry has consistently ignored the wishes of her constituents

I think it's worse that Oliver Letwin isn't standing and for him to actually risk something.
