In Britain of people who self-identify as ‘white’ and British (English, Scottish, Welsh, Northern Irish) account for about 81.9% of the population for the United Kingdom.....As stated that was in 2017 and it's going to be lower for England as most immigrants have settled there.

This is statistically relevant.

His point about 'racism' is shown up for the weak myopic logic it came from.

As for the point about fiscals, I didn't say that all remainers were only concerned with fiscal matters. I made the point that, up to then, that had seemed WE's main concern. He clarified with some of his non fiscal hopes for our future direction. Let's address some of it.

He says he wants a secure country. Yet he has supported mass immigration into this country which has made it less secure and a lower trust society....It's increased the national crime rate and has also added another form of religious terrorism from a significant and growing demographic.

He says he wants a 'progressive' country....Let's remember that this is from a man who came on here claiming to be a 'one nation conservative'....Yet in all his commentary I've yet to come across anything he wants to 'conserve' other than his personal fiscals.

He says he wants a 'modern' country. Well, that's a very subjective term and so we move on.

Finally he says he wants an 'outward looking country'....Well, that's a code term for 'internationalist' or 'globalist'.....All while apparently everyone is getting the same opportunities.....while supporting mass immigration.

Well Japan has proven that you can be both a hyper modern country and outward looking on international trade and not open yourself up to mass immigration.

I contend that the social liberalism he supports and which has been implemented by both Tory and Labour has weakened families, lessened social cohesion and promoted degeneracy leaving us with an overall downgraded society.

The main improvements for society have mainly come via technological improvement.

According to the 2011 census the population of London was 44.9% British is that “statistically relevant”?

London isn't the UK and it's the UK as a whole that was being considered. At least by me.

It's looking at individual bricks again and not the whole wall.

13% of the UK population live in London. Isn’t that as significant as your figure of the number who didn’t vote?

London was a large part of the remain vote.

It was actually 28% who didn't vote, as someone kindly pointed out.

Of course it's significant but it must not be considered in isolation. Whether London voted to remain is an irrelevancy in any national vote.

Which is why the SNP argument for another independence referendum based on the local results of the Brexit one is nonsense. Why this isn't being slapped down more aggressively beats me.

I accept it is an assumption but hardly a very controversial one is it?

What percentage of stupid and racist people do you think voted remain? Makes no sense that they would.

Brexit wasn't a racist decision per se but my observations were that those people who hold views I regard as racist also tended to be in favour of leaving. Presumably because of their views on immigration and immigrants. Perhaps I should make it clear that I am talking only of the ethnically British. People from immigrant cultures may well hold "anti-white" views, and voted to remain, but as they constitute such a small percentage of us I don't regard them as statistically relevant.

Of course if you don't think racist people exist. or if they do then they aren't stupid, you aren't going to acknowledge this at all. You are going to add further insults and denials and ignore all the reasoning given to explain why the remainers are not just concerned with fiscal matters.

And what of post Maastricht, anti federalists - is that racist, or stupid, or both?

So what? There is no evidence that had those 28% voted the result would have been any different.

Yep to paste some of the relevant detail.

'New figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show in the twelve months to September 2019 that UK exports to outside the EU grew nearly five times as fast as exports to countries inside the bloc.

UK exports to the EU grew by 1.3% and now total £296.8bn, while exports to non-EU countries saw growth of 6.3% to reach £376.7bn.

Over the 12-month period, non-EU markets remained the top destination for the UK’s renowned service sector. 60.2% of UK services exports, including financial, travel and transport, go to non-EU markets and are now worth £190.8bn.'
