You are scraping that barrel again, your arguing like a school kid.

Trump is worth 2.8 billion and you think it's down to acting, you are looking more silly by the day.

Not arguing at all, you asked for something successful about trump, I'm agreeing with you, he won an election. I think he's very clever how he played that

I was referring to your actor analogy

He certainly did, and understood the Zeitgeist much better than most but I would also argue, and this is coming from a right-wing POV, that if Trump is the answer then surely people must start to ask what the hell is the question?

Conventional politics is clearly failing all around. And not only politics but the media as well. For me, the constant narrative about Trump never standing a chance was an abject inability of a media establishment unable to actually see what was going on in clear sight. From how Trump strolled to the nomination to the queues outside his rallys to a hundred other small but significant indicators that he was doing well, still we were told, time and time again, that he never stood a chance.

And, with different markers, Brexit.

Now I get why people are horrified about Trump. I will admit to my own doubts as well and I question at times how much the Schadenfreude is worth to cheer him on in that I suspect I loathe more those who oppose Trump than actually have that much faith in him but the reaction of those who proclaim to dislike him so much never fails to give that rather wonderful German word a boost every time.

Ditto with the hysteria around Brexit with the bleating from those unhappy with our departure a fine example of the sort of self-defeating nonsense you see from those, and often they are one and the same, who loathe Trump so much.

Here is a piece of advice for many of those on the left. If you stopped being such w***ers, just for a few moments, you might actually start winning people over a little.

But you won't. The thrill of being 'anti' along with the terrible addiction to virtue signalling means you will carry on with being such terrible s***-c***s and fail to win over anybody with half a brain.

Which is a shame because you actually have some ideas worth at least considering.

Why is everything about left and right?

There's a point of principle that he is divisive and because he gets a big thumbs up from the rednecks doesn't make him more credible

Trump is hardly the most divisive entity in the brave new world. Identity politics has created the environment where Donald Trump became POTUS. He is not the cause of division but a symptom of it.

We all know why there is more division and friction in the world. The multicultural disaster and too many people.
People in the third world want what we have in the West.
Most of us in the West with a brain know where that is heading.

It's not about the left and the right, it's about class and it's about the disaster of globalism that's been pushed on the masses.

The middle classes and the radical left cannot recognize that large numbers of people in the west have suffered from mass immigration and the race to "diversity" of skin colour. Suffer as in economically and socially. Rather you choose to believe they are racist or xenophobic. Even people on the left are starting to recognize this is a lie.

Dismissing people as "rednecks" is a great example of this attitude.

It’s not often that a post deserves a round of applause but that’s one. Couldn’t agree more.

I agree there is trouble ahead. It doesn’t take much intelligence to see that with people mostly wanting to live amongst similar people. What do you think will happen?

So lets break it down.
It is Donald trumps "princible" to stop huge migration from South America which is also the same route huge quantities of hard drugs travel causing misery to families. I like his principle

On principle America works by democracy, trump was democratically elected. Trump has a principle to stop illegal border activity.

I think it's a bad principle to stop a president trying to protect America.

It’s hilarious the outrage from Brexiters when you dare to challenge their intelligence, but a post like the above deserves a round of applause - do you genuinely not see your own hypocrisy?

“The thrill of being anti” is something I would consider far more applicable to the right.

Anyone who believes their ‘side’ is superior, be it morally or intellectually, is frankly living in delusion.

This from someone who thinks London is still a great place to live? That’s taking delusion to self hypnotic levels.
When you post something as laudable as Matov it’ll get the clap it so richly deserves.
