What is your view on the Amazon link?

I have no time at all for anyone, whatever their political affiliations, who offers support to any terrorist organisation, including the IRA. I don't have any time either for the current manifestation of the Labour Party. They are as much to blame for our current mess as Farage and the ERG.

The Amazon story is a ridiculous attempt to conflate a lump of cheese with the white cliffs of Dover! As are many of these stupid "comparisons" being offered up as examples of bad behaviour by the "other side"!

Someone at Amazon has made a mistake and allowed an inappropriate item to be listed. The item itself is offensive and stupid but hardly mainstream. I am sure it's not Amazon policy to allow such things to be listed by them and someone will be feeling the heat, maybe even losing their job.

This and other "examples" all need to be kept in their context.

Johnson is the PM. What he says reaches a very wide audience and is taken literally by many people. What he says matters.

The impact of his words is on a different scale completely to a pocket book published on Amazon.

My local school have an important game of football this afternoon. So do Palace. It's the same game but not quite at the same level.

Out of interest Wisbech, who are good examples of terrorist organisations?

On reflection the IRA are actually a good example whilst also being a disgusting organisation.

Phillip Hammond in todays Times, which of course all HOL people read as a matter of course. (satire).

Brexit is backed by speculators who have bet billions on a disorderly exit from the European Union, the ex-chancellor Philip Hammond has claimed.

The ex-chancellor, who had the Tory whip removed for voting against the government to block a no-deal exit from the European Union (EU), wrote in an article for The Times: "Boris Johnson asserts, ever more boldly, that we will leave the EU on 31 October, 'with or without a deal'.

"But as his sister has reminded us, he is backed by speculators who have bet billions on a hard Brexit – and there is only one outcome that works for them: a crash out no-deal Brexit that sends the currency tumbling and inflation soaring.

"So they, at least, will be reassured to see no evidence at all that his government has seriously pursued a deliverable deal; still less that it has been pursuing a deal that could get us out by 31 October."

Speaking earlier this week Rachel Johnson, the prime minister's sister, was asked on BBC Radio 4's World at One who could be behind the strategy to deliver Brexit in any shape or form.

Downing Street declined to comment on Mr Hammond's remarks on the eve of the party's annual conference when approached by The Independent.

Brexit is actually b****r all about leaving the EU.

Is this the same Rachel Johnson who is an ardent Remainer and who stood as a prospective MEP for the No Change UK Party in the European Elections but unlike her brother turned out to be a loser

It's the Rachel Johnson who said on Radio 4 this week (I heard the interview) that she loved her brother dearly, that he behaves differently at home with the family and that he is thoroughly enjoying being PM. She also said that his reasons for adopting the strategy he is might be that his backers would make a pile of money from a no deal exit. She has subsequently also heavily criticised his choice of language.

As she is closer to him than anyone here I think it is likely she is better informed than us.

I very much doubt that it's a matter of being informed as she claims that Boris has a vested interest without admitting that she may have a vested interest herself

You don't have to have mentally illness to support the far left....but they aren't strange bedfellows that's for sure.
