Corbyn toured major cities and towns, it's called reaching out to ordinary voters or grassroots activism. It was reported in local media not national. For a reason I expect, they didn't want him to have a high profile so they could then claim he did nothing.

I think the likes of Murdoch et al are s*** scared of Corbyn because he actually is electable and does resonate with people, that's why they constantly attack him. Again and again looking for any excuse or making excuses up to attack him.

When you look at Corbyns policies, renationalisation of railways, energy and water, money for building from the BOE rather than the BOE using quantitive easing for banks is in line with a lot of what people want. He is railing against austerity which is a political agenda to take from the public and siphon it to the haves. Corbyn believes in investment to stimulate growth not cutting back and cutting back.

But instead, the media say he's scruffy, a lefty trot engaging in student politics, he wears flip flops, he'll take the UK back to the dark ages; they repeat that he's unelectable over and over again. Repeat the same thing over and over and people start to believe it. They buy into the false narrative that the nedia have created.

This is evidenced if you ask anyone on here or read their posts as to why they don't like Corbyn or don't think he is electable, it's not about policies, instead they say exactly what is repeated in the mainstream media, he's scruffy etc etc.

In actual fact, Labour have done alright in the elections they've taken part in so far: Tooting by election, which was expected to swing to tory because of changing voter/constituency demographics in fact saw a 7% swing to Labour (still a failyre), Sadiq Khan blew Tristram Hunt out of the water in the mayoral election (Labour are still failing). Doom was forecast in the local elections with labour losing hundreds of seats becaue Corbyn was bad for labour, as it was they only lost a few from a high watermark anyway, but still even though labour performed a lot better than the naysayers it was still reported as a failure.

I saw a poll on the referendum (I don't know the amount surveyed,) but it showed Labour had a higher percentage of voters that voted for remain than both the tories and snp. But that's not reported because it will make him look good or even electable. Yet he is was attacked for being ineffectual. Nothing was really said about the ineffectuality of the other parties.

I say keep him on as Labour leader - f*** the Blairite progress wing of the party who are the bitter remains of New Labour, they are just trying to cling to what little power they have in the party so cosy up to the press for their own gains - look at the resignation 'incident ' on the daily politics which the BBC orchestrated five minutes before PMQ's a few weeks ago. Look at the coverage of John Mann having a pop at Ken Livingstone.

Corbyn hasn't failed because he hasn't yet stood in a GE. However because there may be one soon due to Dave (humble speech focussed on not innefectuality) they want Corbyn gone because he could win and upset the land of milk and honey. Yes he does need to focus on some areas more, but I'm sure he and his team know that.

We all know that whoever is in charge of Labour will have the same spin and lies and bulls*** aimed at them. Don't fall for the such and such would be much better bollocks. Milliband ate a bacon sandwich and for 1 fraction of a second a photo caught him looking a bit funny. Cameron f***ed a dead pig. Which got more coverage?
