Forgive my skepticism.

No problem - props for you staying on this thread to fly your particular flag.

The data is kosher. Any model is by definition a prediction and not a fact, I'll grant you. However, you need to forgive me for viewing concepts and rhetoric (from any source or side) with a lot more skepticism than I attach to evidence based prediction.

Pint?

Fair enough but I would not rely on any financial projection to decide Britain's future. There is far more to it than economics in any case.

If you're buying...

Yep, economics is one part of the arguement and not the whole one. But the UK my kids grow up in and their life chances are going to be impacted more by the economic state of the UK rather than it's demographic make up. I might not like it, but that's the way it seems to be for me.

Leave could have convinced me with facts - I don't have a closed mind.

Still, if Leave means no TTIP, then that's a win.

I'd imagine we'd get a deal worse than ttip if we want to trade more with the states.

Again you are writing lies about me for your own gain. You learned well from the leave campaign.

They are not mutually exclusive. It is also too presumptions to think that we can certain of the future.
Predicting the economic conditions Britain will face in 20 years is little more safe than predicting the weather in 20 years. I just can't share your pessimism.

Farage has said the £350m was a mistake. I guess partly if we did get the EEA option then we'd still have to pay, just have no say.

But not one they'd verified before plastering it on the sides of buses etc. The sum isn't the issue either, its the fact that they stated this openly and publicly as true, and then when called on it whisper about it being a mistake etc.

Which to me, suggests either they knew in advance, or didn't care. How hard is it to verify information? Not very. But they went ahead and did it anyway, because they knew it would create more support than it would damage.

No one in politics is so incompetent as to not double check their facts and data before a campaign. They knew it was 'a mistake', which makes it a lie.

Are we really still hung up on the fact that politicians exaggerate during campaigns?
If the Remains had won we would be talking about their nonsense.
