I don't think they publicise their hidden agenda.

I don't agree with any of their policies. I partly agree with their EU policy, but in addition to opposing a "monopoly capitalist United States of Europe", I would also oppose a communist United States of Europe, or any other type of United States of Europe for that matter.

You don't agree with planning for future energy needs. But bizarre but your prerogative. You don't agree with the majority of those polled about renationalisaton of essential services. Fair enough.

I don't agree that state control of power industries is a sensible way of planning for future energy needs.

Are there any of the Communist Party of Britain's policies that you disagree with?

We'll have to disagree on putting public services into public ownership.
I broadly agree with what's in the manifesto. it's in line with what many those of a left outlook think. Doesn't make them (or me) all communists though.

As I've said, Labour is a member led democratic socialist party, it is not 'run by communists' as you are alluding to.
It feels like we are going back to the 70's. Next you'll be saying all labour supporters love Putin!

Rather than just pointing and shouting lefty/ communist etc, why don't you put some arguments to back you up.
Why don't you believe a state run company won't be able to see us forward? State run companies are doing well around the world, we've even got French state companies running part of our infrastructure(it's funny how many of those that are anti eu and europe don't moan about that).

At least it'll be british profits for British companies.

Well it seems logical that if someone agrees with all the policies of the Communist Party of Britain, then they are probably a communist and it is not unreasonable to describe them as such.

From the article...

And in Chakrabarti’s world, to be working class means lacking ‘vision and views’. It means you’re narrow-minded and ignorant.
Really, that's just s***e, baseless opinion, using the sort of emotive language to make froth.

The referendum...

Unless the final settlement proves to be acceptable’, it read, ‘then the option of retaining EU membership should be retained’.

The option of staying should be retained if brexit looks like it's going to be s***. Sounds reasonable. Why didn't the article complain about those from other parties who have doubts about brexit?

Face it Lily. The article is a badly written, failed hatchet job that confuses the reader into believing the opinion written is fact.

Any Guido today? I like reading the comments. They remind me of you.

Thanks for responding in good faith. I too would oppose any sort of fully united Europe and I'm a liberatian socialist. Scary ?

However, if you think a stated policy list hides a "hidden agenda" that's not publicised, surely the logical progression is that any and all political entities have their own hidden agendas......?

I certainly agree with that.

Then why just pick on the Communist Party when mentioning it.

Can't help thinking that someone has lent Gusset the "Assertiveness For Dummies" book.

He's definitely trying to be more assertive..... not sure it's working though?
