Great to see everyone NOW wants to see Palace in the Cup. I think the best way was to see who brought tickets for
Southampton Away
Stoke Home
Spurs Away
and offer them first opportunity to buy.
Then next batch to sell to who went two to two out of three
Then who went to one of the Away matches
and finally those who attended the home match.

Having supporters who rarely can attend asking for priority over week in week out supporters or asking for more tickets, when we are only getting one person isnt fair to those supporters who make that financial & time commitment. If you do get to the semis, we see sudden influx of supporters whose last game was Play off Final, demanding rights over regulars supporters and then want a batch of tickets for people for people never been to a Palace match before. It happened at the play offs!!

Personally I would give the first chance to those who went to Sunderland last night and the three cup games.
Yes we all struggle with points, if you buy next season season ticket, you get the points now!!!

I don't agree, I've been going to Palace for nearly 40 years, since I was seven. I've had a season ticket for 35 years and I've already got mine for next year. I've been to all our Wembley vists,I saw every game in the 1990 FA cup final run including Cambridge away, the last minute win at Stockport where we stayed up, saw us go down at Charlton, and around 60 away grounds, but I don't meet your criteria so if you'd decided I wouldn't get a ticket! By your reckoning someone that's just started supporting Palace and been to four games this year would get a ticket over me. Well I've already got my ticket and I believe that the points system does work because it rewards those that have had season tickets for at least the last five.

I live in High Wycombe (15 miles from Reading) and all 5 of my family went to Southampton, Stoke and Tottenham. We go to as many games as we can as Gold Members but commitments mean we can't buy season tickets. On an average home game we leave at 12pm and just about make kick off and get home at 7.30pm, a long day! I completely understand supporters who go to Sunderland away on a cold Tuesday, but I'm gutted I can't get tickets for my 'local' game.

Other girls may try to take me away,
But you know, it's by your side I will stay

smokeywatchover & others in need of points: a child's £1 ticket to an away game gets you 40 points, and a £65 Palace shirt 65 points. Yup, the logic beats me too, but I hope the information is helpful! Good luck.

well said, i totally agree with you. I have made a similar commiment over the years and feel that i am now being rewarded by getting first crack at all match tickets. Attending 3 cup games with reduced ticket prices doesn't really amount to much to be honest.

Following on from A1969Eagle & Percy earlier, here's another scenario...

I did go to Southampton & Spurs away cup games but unlikely to get a ticket for Reading as I only have 1,000 points, because I don't go to many games any more. However, I used to be a season ticket holder and went home & away every week, amassing 500 games & 80 grounds.

My point is, my 'history' of supporting Palace counts for nothing because the loyalty points scheme is relatively new. But shouldn't my past count for something because I was as fervent when I was going as anyone who goes now (eg queing 7 hours through the night for cup final tickets/midweek trips to Hartlepool/all those away cup games at Forest!)

I appreciate that those going now should get first crack at it but maybe it is an idea to look at a way of awarding some loyalty points to fans who have a 'history' that pre-dates the current scheme??

There are 1000's of people who have a Palace supporting history I could take untold programmes, scarves, shirts, badges, tickets, but am lucky enough to have enough points.
I reckon the points system is the fairest way.
Although I understand what you are saying, perhaps the club could do a ballot for say 100 tickets for those with less than the required points?
