It's not perfect but by and large the loyalty points system means that those who go regularly get a ticket. Harsh on some, but I haven't heard anyone come up with a better solution.

It does work for now but disagree on people getting points for purchasing stuff in the club shop and food/beer at the ground.

I agree - I feel an alternative could be more fewer points for buying a season ticket but you gain points for attendance to games (as well as buying away tickets). This could act as some kind of incentive for ST holders to attend more games - far too many empty seats at 'sold out' games.

Season ticket holder with 2000 points. Missed out on tickets. If you have one or know of one that you now don't need as you can't make it for whatever reason then can you PM me. Will pay a little bit extra to fund some beers for that person!

Thanks

Good idea in theory but the scanners would end up going down 4 or 5 times a season and that would balls up the whole process. Better idea would be to just put loyalty points from away games into a completely different category. But apparently its only fair that people who show loyalty in other ways get points whatever the fudge that means.

I'm tempted to look into this but don't want to be in a sea of blue and white... It says Haddon room is £40 + VAT?

Still a good price if food is thrown in but do you have to wear a suit and tie

Think someone said on the BBS that no football shirts....and that the seats are next to the away end.
If I hadn't got a ticket I would do it without fail.

I have done things like this in the past and you will be surprised how many familiar faces you see in the home ends especially at the big games. Reckon quite a few will be in Reading early afternoon and filling the pubs up so will be a great atmosphere whatever end your in.
