newcastle trains £110 each

tried on the trainline.com and they are £110 each, any other ways of getting it cheaper?

Have had a look at Southern (they indicate that they will refund unused tickets - should intended travel not be possible). The ticket I found came up at £136.00 return (East Croydon, London Bridge (Tube) Kings Cross, Newcastle. The website indicated that broken journeys is possible. A visit to a ticket office to discuss Railcards (usually £30.00 for a year) which could give 1/3rd off and two tickets for the journey - tickets to and from York or Darlington in combination may also save a few bob. Good luck.

I remember when looking i saw some for around £60 with a railcard.

You just try getting money back from Southern. It's appalling. Virgin are actually quite good at refunds

We flew up a few years back went up Friday, down the town on the pi$$ went to the game Saturday then back Saturday night, that was easy jet from stansted 38 minutes!!! Brilliant time

on raileasy.co.uk it comes up from 91 quid. It's rather expensive, think similar to flying across from Holland really, think about that......
