Back to topic....... I think this is getting very interesting. Cameron is fighting dirty over the EU anti Brexit campaign and getting all sorts of people involved to besmirch the reputations of the Out campaign's leading lights. Ros Altman was on the news this morning sticking the knife into IDS. One thing's for sure, In or Out result in June's referendum - the Conservative Party is splitting and there will be a leadership contest before the year is out.

Back to topic.......

I think this is getting very interesting.

Cameron is fighting dirty over the EU anti Brexit campaign and getting all sorts of people involved to besmirch the reputations of the Out campaign's leading lights.

Ros Altman was on the news this morning sticking the knife into IDS.

One thing's for sure, In or Out result in June's referendum - the Conservative Party is splitting and there will be a leadership contest before the year is out.

I believe there are two most likely reasons for IDS' resignation:

1. The EU referendum is a once in a lifetime opportunity for anti EU Conservatives to get their way on Europe. I agree with this assessment of IDS thinking pretty much. As I said earlier, all these people lining up to discredit him are under Cameron's orders to do so IMHO.

I agree with this assessment of IDS thinking pretty much.

As I said earlier, all these people lining up to discredit him are under Cameron's orders to do so IMHO.
