She made the comment 'in a jocular fashion' in the context of EDL having had a cup of tea in a mosque. The analogy either implies that they were likely to be beheaded, or that IS are nice chaps.

By attempting to make the government in their Syria policy appear more extreme than a far-right party, she's succeeded in cementing the opposition's reputation as loony lefties.

I'm expecting some sort of proposal to take disenchanted IS fighters in as lodgers soon.
