Ultimately for the far left things invariably come down to class war. Chuka Umunna says something about racism; it doesn't matter as he's a middle class Blairite. Jewish people (particularly in Israel) complain about anti-Semitism; it doesn't matter as your average Muslim in the UK and in Palestine is probably "worse off" than their Jewish neighbours.

It's such as shame that even the Tories, with their proud history of helping promote racism over the last century, can call out anti-Semitism in all of its forms without insisting on a debate of what the definition ought to be.

Where have you been Mister? Been a while.

no,people with dodgy views/actions are alive and well unfortunately in the crevices of the Tories too and UKIP. It needs to be confronted wherever rather than used just to tar political foes.

or this one?

A YouGov survey last year found the highest proponderance amongst Lib Dem voters...

You can try and smear your opponents with whatever you want but you know, full well, that at the moment the most frequent, and disgusting, race hate allegations are comings out of left and not the right.

I believe that what is coming out of the left actually disgusts you but appreciate that if you aren't man enough to accept this, it can be our dirty secret.

This isnt my problem. It's yours. Deal with it.

The only problem appears to be with you rather than me.

Your "horror" at anti semitic attitudes appears to be limited to if it enables you to have a pop at the left.Your description of my illustration of similar issues on the right as a "smear" says it all.You show yourself as a mirror image caricature of what you slag off in some others here whose politics differ from your own.

Chairman Mat,you have lost whatever credibility you had on the issue (which is an important one);that is a pity.

If you wish to believe that the. comrade, please do so.

My point is that you appear, like many on the left, to forgive the transgressions of those on 'your side' a heck of a lot quicker, and more thoroughly, that those opposing you.

Furthermore, you also seem to have some sort of helmet on which precludes all the ant semitic bills*** on the left, falling on you or your comrades. It is, perplexing.

Still, what do I know! I can only comment from afar whilst you, and your sort, excuse the excesses of your comrades and allow the May-ist's to build a new future.

Enjoy burying your head up your colon, Comrade.

If I'm brutally honest I've been working in politics (mainly with the Labour Party) so I've tried to avoid too much discussion about why Jeremy Corbyn is the worst influence on British politics since Michael Foot.

Because pretending to support total dogsh*t is basically unity right? Like when we didn't win at home until March in the Prem that season?

Total bollocks. Chuka is not a 'Blairite'. That is a word, invented by your sort, to demean those in opposition to you in the Labour Party.

Lazy. Incorrect. Pathetic.

He is one though right? I basically agree with him on most stuff but if the party was divided into 4 groups, he'd be in the closest one to the centre.

Good to see you back, old chap.

Being a 'Blairite' is different from occupying the centre left of the spectrum in Labour.

Is Hilary Benn a Blairite? Is Tom Watson a Blairite? The answer is no. Blairite is an insult deployed in Labour at the moment for anyone that disagrees with Chairman Jez and his barmy acolytes.

That may well be true, but just as Marxist and Trotskyist are used in the same way by others, sometimes these words are actually a fairly accurate description of political identity.

I'd say Benn and Watson were Brownites, Watson in particular as he helped boot Blair out. Umunna actually nominated Liz Kendall for leader (despite her only getting 4.5% of the vote in the end) so I daresay that's because his politics is in the Kendall/Blair region just to the left of centre.
