A £13m signing right at the start of the window and a sale of (rumoured) £10m. Regardless of whether the transfers seem like good or bad ones, it is re-assuring to see us conducting business early on. Expect a very quiet deadline day this year (which I'm not complaining about if we get a few deals over the line early doors!)

Top, top signing and a massive upgrade. Whereas last season we'd have Mutch/Chung/Gayle out on the left, we have now got the next level of competition being a 24 year old England international. Will hopefully provide that end product we've been missing between midfield and the forwards. McArthur, Ledley, Jedinak, Mutch, Cabaye, Zaha, Bolasie, Puncheon, Townsend, Sako Serious midfield we're starting to build there
