Giving that penalty to the home side in the last minute after a plethora of bad decisions is weakness, plain and simple. The earlier ones you could label mistakes, but the last one was a "get me out of this" decision.

Referee made two questionable decisions, one which benefitted West Ham, one that benefitted Leicester. Most of us would be happy with that. The issue Leicester fans have is with Vardy being sent off. It was an excellent decision. Vardy engineered the foul to get a penalty and a certain red card advantage, then went down theatrically, and rightly got booked. Then abused the referee. The person Leicester fans should be angry with isn't the referee, its Vardy. He was on a yellow, and dived, and could face further sanction for then having a hissy fit at the referee. Both of Vardy's cards were yellow card offences. The second yellow, the referee either gives a penalty and red card, or a second yellow for simulation. There isn't really an alternative. West Ham, might well feel aggrieved at the penalty, but then they were utterly robbed against Arsenal the week before, and no one seemed to care. I thought it was soft, but f**k it, they happen - And Leicester probably should have had a penalty five to ten minutes before hand. The problem the referee created for himself, was letting far too much go early in the game.

See it quite a lot though, a referee doesn't give a penalty they probably should have, and then gives a soft one, that they probably wouldn't have done.

Andy Carroll also quoted Morgan saying to him; "He doesn't know what he's doing, he's been bad all game." [Link] Hardly the actions of someone who felt it was the right decision.

I think he was absolutely right to award a penalty for the Morgan incident, indeed both Morgan and Huth had been warned beforehand about their grappling in the box.

You'd think a referee was right if he stuck his head up his arse and refereed the whole game without witnessing one minute of it. No one thinks it was right. Not the fans, not the pundits, not the players and not even the referee if ha gave an honest answer. Even you don't think it was right but you're determined to carry on the charade.

I have consistently stated that referees DO make mistakes in the "Heat of battle", having to make split-second decisions in a very fast moving game.So NO, referees are not infallible. That you know the first thing about football. Your only given reason is that Wes Morgan didn't complain. Something you don't know and the picture I've put up doesn't concur with.
