With the spiraling cost and availability of building materials currently, dont expect any further developement for quite sometime.

They can’t even sort out season tickets and match day tickets so there’s no way they’ll be able to cope with this. The place will go into meltdown.

Well I have some left over 4 x 2, roof felt, blocks and a large tarp ( no hole either ) from our extension SP willing to have them for the right price .

South London & Proud
Sometimes I really wonder if family are really worth it.
Because it doesn’t matter how time and affection you give
It’s never enough

I've got five bags of building sand and eight breeze blocks, I'm sure if we all got together with our bits and pieces we could make some sort of start, my Palace supporting brother is a building engineer too!

Thing is, if the club aren't building the stand now/before/ever it's because they don't believe it is in the clubs interests to take on the risks involved (whatever they might be). It's not like they meant to get round to it and they've just forgotten or something. They have access to the figures involved and we don't.

Quite what the risks are is of course quite mysterious, but the external obstacles are all either cleared or seem clearable, so the delay is largely a choice on the club's part.

It's just an opinion.

If we are very successful. I would like to do it organically. The charm and attraction of the club is that it is largely funded through its fans and its own success. It's our club and not a billionaire play thing.

When the money generated by fans stops becoming the basis of a clubs operations, the club dies.

on the basis that Palace operated for the whole of last season without any money generated by fans are you saying that the club has already died?

Even with fan income the club's revenues is c80% TV income.

We also have 3 multi millionaire Americans who own almost 50% of the club (i think - could be more now) and have always been owned by businessmen - Boyce, Noades, Goldberg, Jordan, the 4 from CPFC 2010, arguably we have always been someone's play thing.

Why didn't they buy the houses three years ago ?
Fulham took advantage of the Covid lockdowns, their new stand is practically finished, while Palace have messing around doing nothing.
I don't expect to see our new stand in use for at least five years, if ever.
