We all now have a lot of affection for Andy which is ironic because in 1988 when he played for Villa at Selhurst - he had left us on bad terms - i have never before or since heard a player get such vitriolic abuse for the whole game from so many Palace fans as that. It was really full-on.

I haven't read all the remarks about Andy but he was the only player I'd use the word awesome, similar to Bryan Robson, he'd tackle or stop you, in my opp onion a palace legend.
