He is a match winner that could be the difference between winning and going to penalties. There are enough wise heads in the England side to square him away. If guilty, it has to be a 3 match ban. 2 games isn't an option. He's proved himself to be a very talented player, and I say this despite me calling for Wilf to be picked ahead of him for England earlier this season.

He might be a "bit young" and a good player, but he's also a sneaky, snidey little c*nt who would be a massive liability in a big tournament. If I was Woy I'd tell him to f*ck right off until he's grown up enough not to be a nasty little sh*t who tries to hurt oppo players every couple of weeks. Based on what? 7 yellow cards and effectively one sending off in a 38 game season is hardly 'a massive liability'. He made a mistake, he will be banned for it - dropping him from the national side for it is moronic.

Based on his knee in the back of Cabaye, his kick out in the Europa League, and now punching Yacob. To Yacob's credit he didn't roll around trying to get him sent off, but can you imagine what an Italian, German or Spanish player would do if he did the same to them in the Euros? We've had it before with Beckham and Rooney getting themselves sent off in big tournaments with petulant, immature actions and we don't need it again with this little sh*t. Hopefully he gets a 3-game ban, misses the rest of the season and learns a lesson from it. If he shows he's grown-up enough not to do snidey stuff like this then he will have earned the right to represent his country.

He's not contesting the charge, so I presume that a 3-match ban is coming his way.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

As Seth said a top international team will use it to their advantage and he's lucky it's only once sent off and not 3. He isn't being spoken to properly it seems so he needs to learn by sitting on the naughty step and then Woy explaining why it's too risky before being unacceptable/out of order. Whenever I see this sort of stuff I think how long they'd last in amateur unpaid and protected football pitches and changing rooms. Different arena.

Anyone that punches someone and the person punched, doesn't even realised they have been punched. Should receive a life ban.

He's a fantastically gifted player, who unfortunately has a nasty side and a vicious temper. Reminds me of a young Rooney actually- although hopefully he will actually live up to his potential! I've no doubt he'll pick up a few red cards and a few more bans in his career, if he carries on the way he's going, but with the right advice, he's young enough that he can nip the nasty side of his game in the bud.

I only hope that come the euros, if he plays, we arent all here discussing him being sent off for an act of stupidity. there'll be a few servings of humble pie being dished out for some in this thread alone...
Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan |
