I actually thought both semi finals between these two were superb viewing. And definitely a great result. Was worried the Weed were going to do it in the first half but Sheff.Weds did some Palace style digging in for the last 45.

The kind of games, where you think 'why the f**k couldn't we put more effort into the first game'

Its a massive blow for them, money aside, next years Champ will be even tougher, to get 89 points and STILL not go up is incredible ..... I would not place any bets on Brighton going up next season. They really have blown a golden opportunity, the Only parallel I can think of Is Liverpool blowing the League when Gerrard Slipped and We Drew 3-3 with them !

On another team Wimbledon did really well, I dont mind them ,I think they have come on so well after being sold out to Milton sw***er, You have to admire AC Wimbledon the way they have come from a park team in such a short time. Will be good games if they do win promotion when they meet Milton Kens dons in the league.Good Luck to them.

They have done well, but they were never "a park team" being at Kingsmeadow since their foundation. Also, whilst founded by supporters, they were an extremely wealthy trio able to put in a lot of cash.

True, they were ambitious and always very well funded. Good luck to them!
