I've been unable to get tickets any other way than Club Wembley. I have been really lucky to be given one... however they are in the manure end. At least I know that wearing a palace shirt won't be an option, so I won't run in to that problem! Does anyone know how partisan CW is? Will I get thrown out for celebrating a palace goal? I'm not sure I will be able to stop myself!

I am also in club Wembley, east end of the ground. I have been informed that there will be a mixture of Palace, Man U and neutrals in all parts of CW.

Would also piss in a cup and share that with the Mancs should they get a consolation goal.

Wembley is a modern, comfortable stadium in all areas and unless you are literally physically enfeebled, much less than robust, I'd have thought that celebrating a goal was pretty much a core part of the football experience, as would be soaking in the atmosphere sitting among you own fans. We can agree to disagree, but you clearly didn't read my post carefully or respond to the substance of my point.

I beg to differ You were indicating that anyone sitting in CW was either unlucky or a fool. The individual concerned appears to be 65 and prefer the quiet life. SEE didn't give us much in the way of options to select tickets. Had this gentleman gone for a less boisterous part of the ground that wasn't CW he would have been in the Gods, potentially not great to get up to and possibly not a great viewing experience. My own experiences at every Wembley match I have been to were of having a tsunami of good natured but relatively heavy Palace fans fall upon me at least once during the game. Personally I enjoy the rough and tumble but I am not (yet) particularly fragile. So in your opinion being in CW isn't your best option but decrying people who believe it is their best option is not appropriate. For some people prawn sandwiches are more edible than meat rolls.

I'm in 213, so right in the heart of the manure fans, I'll just have to practice my dodge duck dip dive and dodge for any incoming objects when celebrating.

Sorry to appear such a simple doofus-brain, but where exactly do you get Club Wembley tickets from? Are these the ones that are ridiculously expensive on 3rd party ticket sites? Looking like this might be the only option if I don't want to be separated from friends / family...

So far as I can tell, you have to be a Club Wembley member in the first place (which is basically signing up to a debenture scheme that costs many thousands of pounds) simply in order to access the tickets (which are available by resale from other Club Wembley members.) In short, you need a membership name and password to buy them. I think both Clubs probably had a limited number of Club Wembley tickets that were sold to season ticket holders in the Director's Box or Vice Presidents...that sort of thing...but which were never made available to the general supporting public. Correct me anyone if I'm wrong. One last point is that even if you could get hold of a Club Wembley ticket, I don't think it would cost you any less than those presently on Ticketbis, etc. At this point, if you want to go to the game, unless you get very lucky you're looking at 350 quid and up. I was in club Wembley for the Watford playoff final - although their fans are nicer than Mancs anyway so it may not be a barometer of today's match, it was a mixture of us and Watford and no problem celebrating the goal.
