It's not a matter of being a selling club but keeping a player who is unhappy and if Everton do make a substantial bid for Scott Dann and he wants to go it may not be in our best interests to force him to stay.

Having said that, I hope that it doesn't come to that

Looks like Everton will be losing Stones to Man C so will be looking for a replacement.

Dann of course hails from Liverpool and used to be a season ticket holder at the club. But Carragher and Owen were 'Evertonians' and of course went on to play for Liverpool !

Everton we're in for Dann last year , under a different manager!!! Dann then signed a new contract despite the Interest , we have then now acted quickly and very ambitiously in the transfer market , he's going nowhere and is clearly happy.

As a previous caller said when Everton were interested this time last year Dann signed a new contract! He's since played in an FA Cup final and is a shoe in to be captain next season if Jedinak leaves!
Plus Everton have changed managers and there is nothing to say Koeman would even want him!

Don't we want them to play a similar game then? I'm not sure that similar players fighting over the same ball, that sometimes happens in midfield and upfront, applies to central defenders.
