I always rated Murray as a player who instinctively knew where the ball was going. Natural football brain who would be a great asset to the squad. Everyone knows he scores plenty goals,

Get him and Defoe and we'd be sorted up front. Forget another 30m+ player and get two proven goal scorers instead! Also better from an injury risk mitigation perspective.

I agree with this all the way up to the idea of him playing for us. He is a good option for Brighton, we should be looking up from Murray.

We need to box clever with strikers to free up some money to get Sakho, retain other players and buy an excellent creative midfield player. The Fulham lad springs to mind.

Some people just don't get it about the critical difference between EPL vs Championship strikers.

So, let me put it this way: an EPL defender bumps into:

Murray - Murray falls over
Gayle - Gayle falls over
Benteke - Defender falls over
Wickham - Defender falls over

Now DO YOU F@CKING GET IT?
