advice was dark colour on the bottom light on top.
You even agree with this then did the opposite.
Am liking your sons bedroom decor that looks very cool.

Tried it .. didn't like it.. didn't like the striped effect of a white skirting and white dado with green through the middle... so... nerr! X

I have a flat with a through lounge with picture & dado rails similar to yours.

I actually did one half like yours and the other half reversed, think the reversed always looked so much better.

If it was me I would go all white on the walls and a light to mid grey on the picture & dado rails.

Or if you want to go bolder, reverse that. Good luck.
