the guy is 6,3 can use both feet in shooting very well...obviously can head well too if you've seen him play. and he's reasonably quick for a big guy he's a fab player who simply has not been utilised well at all at 'pool. he will score for fun with us

Lots of poacher's goals, headed goals, loose tap in's etc. There aren't many of the type Liverpool tried to provide him with. Those kind of floor passes with time to prepare. Maybe he's better at battling and acting on the spur of the moment. These are cracking. Number 10 at WBA on 1.50 !!! It's not unreasonable for Liverpool to make a loss on Benteke in my opinion. If they paid £32 million, as has been reported, and our valuation is £25 million, we should not offer more just to insure Liverpool against any loss. It's just the cost you bear for a signing not working out - and we have had one or two of those.

You've also paid an inflated price sometimes because you were the big club buying to begin with. Liverpool have the new money coming in and transfer inflation in their favour. We have nobody else interested, as far as we know, in our favour. They've messed up on 3 big strikers and have to take it on the chin. Andy Carroll
