To be honest I don't think even our management team knows how close we are to signing our targets, so how any else would know is speculation in that case..

It only proves they cheated their way out of the Championship just the same as QPR that season, FFP rules will only work when those clubs that break the FFP, lose the place they gained unfairly and are either denied promotion or are automatically relegated, a miserly £7.6m fine is an utter joke, it's a drop in the ocean for a PL club these days.

I hate these ITK posts. A few years ago my lads used to run a kids football team and a senior member of the Palace management teams son trained for a while. His dad always came up but couldn't and wouldn't tell us anything - and we did try! If he had I wouldn't have stuck it on here, as it would have betrayed his confidence. So, with a 50/50 chance of being right (he'll either join or he won't), I can't see the point. However, a unnamed bloke in Tesco (who was working with a good sauce) DID tell me that we might sign a striker before the window closes, 'if we're lucky.' You heard it here first, folks!!
