That is true - I was going by the supposed champions league add on but I guess you can't believe everything you hear in the press. It's almost impossible to tell these days.

No, it isn't, but there is a member of the ownership who thinks he has balls the size of cantaloupes and can't ever close a deal unless his massive ego is satisfied that he's done one over the other party. That inability to know when the dealing is done and it's time to pay or walk away will be fatal for us if we're not careful.

To a certain extent yet we all see what happend to Goldberg if your Mr nice and a walkover. Plus all these guys will have massive ego's and will butt heads at some point, but will always work together if the deal suits both clubs.
The fact is Liverpool hold all the cards but you can't blame parish for the way his dealt with this. It's all easy saying Liverpool have gave us a figure either give them what they want or go elsewhere. If we wait it out and do end up paying what Liverpool want on transfer deadline day or thereabouts atleast it shows other clubs that we're no walkover and will only play by just their rules if we deem it an absolute necessity for the best for our club.

As a fan, I won't feel disrespected or unfairly treated if the situation has been remedied when the window closes. I will always be grateful to SP & the consortium for saving and redeveloping our club. The turnaround in such a short space of time has been miraculous. I seriously worry that if this negativity persists he might decide to walk and I can't think of another pair of hands anywhere near as safe as his.
Look - he's trying to get some major deals done. For obvious reasons he can't share the details with us. The media are devious & mischievous, the agents are stirring things up, Your frustrated, I'm frustrated, we're all frustrated. But let's not kick the guy who helped to save our club in the teeth just to vent our wrath. There is still time, so please cut him some slack.
