But he was pretty nasty to his wife live on air and very quickly thereafter they had a highly acrimonious divorce. Like I said, now completely removed from the history books for some reason. Back in the day I used to deliver backline for bands to riverside studios in Hammersmith to TFI Friday (or whatever it was called) Evans was a nasty s*** to the people who worked on that show, I witnessed it first hand. I used to love his show on Radio London about 30 years ago mind.
