Just watched it. Had a tear in my eye at some points, not the best programme but entertaining. Still so frustrating. We should have won

We didn't deserve to win it, we used up our luck in the Spain match. No team deserves it scraping through on penalties. I reckon if we had won that shoot out and perhaps if we beat the Czechs in the final most outside observers would have said we were just lucky and the officials were on our side.

We may well have won it if it wasn't for the teams ability to drink. The cross that gazza wad inches from reaching for example. If he had been fitter maybe he'd have reached it. Bunch of c***s not heroes.

For all the criticism greece got after their 2004 win, they actually won every match in normal time without the need for extra time or penalties We did not deserve to win euro 1996
