We are not signing anyone as the window isn't open in most countries yet and all the decent players are in France representing their national teams. It's about three weeks before the forum goes into transfer meltdown by my rough calculations

Point of my thread was to point out we are being linked with every Tom dick and Harry available again and we won't sign any of them because we won't pay the money. Unlike the other teams I.e Everton West Ham also being linked and other teams I fail to mention who will pay the money wages etc and then we will just say, oh but they have better infrastructure! Bolony! We just skin flints unfortunately and need to start paying some better wages if we really wanna compete for top half of table. I am not moaning about that we haven't signed anyone yet merely pointing out those points I have raised. Who has it on authority that we won't be paying big for players? This is all just fans saying, 'no way will we pay that' Well we know have a tonne of money and I am sure our owner know that we need to spend big to just stay still as every other club now has the clout to buy as well. Leicester There are a lot of teams there that have been linked to a tonne of people and rumoured to have signed a couple but as of yet nothing official so lets not get too excited yet.

It is not straightforward dealing with players and especially their agents. Football is full of cowboys who would happily rip us off. They demand upfront payments to sign the players and other games. The intent is there - we'll get the players we need to improve the quality of the squad. If you dont want to believe it - fine. I'm a glass half-full person myself.

If you actually stop, breath and take a step back.. We are linked with every Tom, Dick and Javier...so are Stoke, West Ham, West Brom, Southampton, etc etc etc etc I wonder if their forums are full of people wetting themselves ???
