Football should consider making some fundamental changes like bigger goals. Euros really boring.

Would give the 4th official something useful to do all match. Some bloke called Cabaye looked a class act anchoring the French midfield last night too.

I always think we should be looking at the Croatian/Slovakian/Albanian players...great technique but you'd need to bring a couple over so they could help each other adjust to London. The ONLY reservations i'd have in doing so though would be the type of fans the HF would then attract bearing in mind the issues the countries have with far right sympathisers.

I still think Mertens would fit in well at Palace. In the half hour cameos he's made he seems to want to drive forward at every opportunity and isn't afraid to take people on. At 29 he's probably at his peak but I'm not sure whether he'd fancy a couple of years of so in the PL. Other than him, there are a few possible rough diamonds from the likes of Albania that show bags of potential but do we really want to bring in players to 'develop' without some established talent too.

Already a known entity but Joe Allen was Wales' best player yesterday, I think he could flourish where he is made the main main in midfield. Yann Sommer also has looked good for the swiss. Edited by Mad4palace (21 Jun 2016 6.47pm)

I think a loan bid for Joe Allen would be sensible business and not to unlikely. I liked the way Robson Kanu played for Wales against us and he could be the target man to cover for Wickhams undoubted injury spells.
