Well IMO do not get to exited about the pair of them joining The Palace.
Both will go to bigger clubs than us.

You are probably right. But one thing I have learnt about the last few transfer windows, the flimsy rumours are a lot more exciting than the facts.

We do have so many naïve Nigels on here.

Pardew never played Dwight and Conor together so the chances of B&B are zilch.

I don't think we'll sign either of them, but when WBA beat us 3-2 he was excellent and he played in the number 10 role that Punch has been playing for us for the last few seasons. He played much deeper than Rondon and he looked very good there. No reason he couldn't play there for us if he signed.

bigger players will gradually be going to smaller clubs. the money on offer is too big to say no. the fact we have London to offer will help. not saying we will get them, but the chances have improved greatly over recent years.

I think our appeal should be growing. Ok, we didn't finish as high in the league, but we now have three years in the Prem (which sort of comes across like a "three years no claims bonus") and an internationally televised FA Cup Final. I believe our appeal over the last three years has almost been a straight line in the right direction (with perhaps a short blip or two in it).

Probably true, although would think Berahino stock has fallen quite a lot due to stop-start last season and questionable behaviour during the last transfer saga.

Either Benteke or Berahino would, to me, represent a very positive piece of business for the club.

It remains to be seen, but I suspect that you may be clutching at straws.

My personal view is that this is just more straw clutching. If our 'appeal' has flat-lined, doesn't that mean it's no better than it ever was?

Un bloody believable , berahino is equal to Gayle lol

And buy him and send him out on loan as he's young lol

I have seen some stupid things in my time but some on here really need help, I think its sending me into a bit of a spin lol

Does anyone think we could sign messi as he is quite small and hardly any other clubs will be interested and he would love south London and would defo accept a drop in wages to fall in to line with his height

Please explain why we would sign him at some £15m and send him out on loan.

We are not Man U, City or Chelsea but little Crystal Palace.

send gayle out on loan*

i was talking about gayle. who gives a s*** if he won't accept terms with a club who'll pay 10 mill for him, there's no point having him as an option with berahino in the squad.

Looks like he is on his way to Stoke for 16 million.
