Should call an election but no yet. We need a settling period not more upheaval. 12 - 18 months seems right. I think both the Tories and Labour will have new leaders by the time we have another election. The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

No. People are bored to death of politics and politicians, the last thing the public need is another bloody election. The next two years are going to be very unstable and very difficult for the Tories, whoever they pick to be the new PM, just sit back and watch. It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

People are bored to death of politics and politicians, the last thing the public need is another bloody election.

The next two years are going to be very unstable and very difficult for the Tories, whoever they pick to be the new PM, just sit back and watch.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Nobody's suggesting that it should be right now but any government should have a proper mandate as we move forward.

The same conservative party that were highly critical of an unelected Gordon Brown. I think its inevitable that the UK will have a General Election, in or around the time it confirms an exit - I don't think we can legitimately have a government that hasn't been elected on the basis of manifesto on progress outside of the EU.
