Yep, I'd imagine there were regions that were more 50/50 on the EU than others, as with the general populace. In West Wales the farmers I knew of were generally sick of the EU, and there are a lot of small farms around here which would contribute to the leave numbers. My consultant friend did mention to me that it was something like 8 in 10 against EU amongst the farmers he spoke to. Then again, his firm is funded by the EU, so maybe they just thought he was a crap consultant.(not really, he's good fair play to him)

It seems I misinterpreted what I was told. Apparently on the farming forums the majority appear to have supported the leave camp but many have subsequently become Bregretters. They are now fearful of a loss of subsidies.

Then they are very stupid people for not actually understanding the responsibility that comes with voting.

It was you that told me earlier in this thread not to assume people are stupid. I don't know that they were, maybe they now have new information available to them or maybe they are just getting emotional. You would have to ask them.

They will be able to do what farmers should do best like grow crops and have livestock on their land instead of doing sweet FA for EU grants ??????

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.
