One wonderful goal for Wales in the Euros and everyone thinks the sun shines out of his arse.

I think he could be useful and an upgrade on say Campbell but that isn't saying a lot.

As for thinking he could replace Bolasie - never heard such bollocks in all my life.

Overrated by the pundits as well. The Mirror likes to talk bollocks anyway.

I agree. Tis is the first transfer headline I have genuinely laughed about.

I think that's idiot journalism rather than a reflection of AP thinking. He maybe also improves with quality players around him.

I don't think it's bad business if you see it for what it is (and assuming his wage demands aren't stupid).

To be fair, the " replacement for Bolasie " bit is just newspaper talk.

Signing Robson-Kanu as a standalone deal is hugely underwhelming though.

It seems that the club does it's best transfer dealings early on, and that the position we need strengthening in more than any other continues to be an issue.

Yes other clubs have had similar problems, but they seem to be resolving them.

I hope we are still in the hunt for Benteke and this potential signing is no more than back up for the injured and transfer bound, Campbell

Townsend is Yala's replacement and HRK is a cheap 3rd choice striker who we will pray never plays but if he does maybe he'll surpass our low expectations.

If we got Benteke and then HRK all would seem ok. To sign HRK without a marquee signing and the s*** will hit the fan.

As I have said before he was brilliant for Wales. Not because he scored with a Cruyff turn, that may well have been lucky but because of the way Wales play. He was given a specific job to do and he did it well.

HRK has often ploughed a lone furrow up front but enabled Bale & Ramsey (and Allen to a lesser extent) to run from deep. Arguably with our attacking midfield, it could suit our style of play.

We definitely need a Benteke / Slimani type player though

Good not brilliant. He did a job well but that was it.

But he just is not premier league quality. He might just be an upgrade on Campbell but that is far from certain. Certainly Campbell's record in the Championship is superior and he looked the better player at that level.

Useful addition to compete for places especially if we get Benteke as well.

Great idea. Spunk loads of cash on his wages and never play him. Perfect.

As a replacement for Sako I get it. Also great that he can play upfront. Wise move in my eyes. Bolasie should be sold and get some of that Stones money to fund either Bony or Benteke or both.
