It's a shame then that, according to a story in yesterday's Guardian, the FA will 'consult' Wayne Rooney and other experienced players (yes, that would be same ones who performed so abysmally in France) about their preference. So, unless you are 'in' with Wayne I suspect you will be out of luck.
