If we sign another midfielder before a striker I would be frustrated. We can get this guy for 12m lbs or sakho for just 3m lbs more.

Would still be good value for €12m. But I don't think there's any indication that Palace have actually put a bid in, just that the player is available....

AP is trying to build a team so if players who improve squad and who we can afford . He will look at them.

We all know we need a striker but neither Berahinho or Benteke have signed on the dotted line (yet?). Sakho I think may be more a loan possibility with an agreement to buy if he proves fitness.I think we all agree at least 1 striker is a priority.

But we also need someone providing assists and competition for Punch and this guy does that. I also wonder if Townsend or Kaikai could not be tried in that role

We also need defensive midfield cover if (when) Jedi goes - of course that might be Boateng.

Know this suggestion was from last summer.
But this guy has got 12 goals and 20 assists this season.
So he is only getting better.

I can't say I've seen him play but looking at his stats. He's the sort of player that we should be after. My only concern with buying flair players abroad. I sometimes think it's hard to replicate them kind of figures.
