I thought he was poor last year. And his discipline is awful. Plus they've signed gayle to replace him so that's a no imo.

Like I mentioned in my other post there's so many options depends what you want. Do you want a powerful lman aka bony ect to hold it up or pace of ayew or a Shane long, do we want the 30mill 1st team striker or two of equal ish standings to battle it out for the starting spot with dinner wickham. Personally I'd be looking at bony as the first option and ayew for the squad.

I think it's safe to say the club are looking for a forward who can play upfront alone like Benteke so whether we want a player like that or not...it doesn't really matter.

I'd be buzzing if we went back in for Slimani. Other than that Bakambu at Villarreal would be a good signing for us.

Ignoring the Benteke mess

1. Bony always thought he suited the Premier and would be amazing at Palace. Wages are massive and he would want Europe.

2. Berahino l think he is a special player had at the right club could be top class. I know others think he's a duffer.

I might try for Gignac, he plays in Mexico and maybe fancies a top league again.

Babacar I know nothing about.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Middlesborough are trying to get Alvaro Negredo on loan. That is a very good loan signing if available.

And surely he'd choose London over toxic chimney smoked industrial estate?

He will stretch the games , with his constant runs , who would you suggest

In today's market he'd cost us probably £12m+, he's 30 in January. so at the end of say a three year contract, he's not going to be worth much and he's a career average 1 in 4 striker. We need to move on from forwards who do everything (hold the ball up, bring others into play and 'stretch the game') except get 15 or 20 goals a season.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

I think Diafra Sakho would be great for us. Would cost around £15m, so there'd be some money to get other players. Was injured a bit at West Ham, but who hasn't been with their mickey mouse training pitches.
Works hard, is decent in front of goal and works the channels too.
As much as I would like us to get a 20 goal a season striker, I think 10/12 a season would put us in the top 10 quite comfortably.

Can't disagree with that

Why would anyone chose to be a Seagull? The Eagle is a far superior creature.

The Seagull lives under it's damp pier meekly looking out, blinded by the sheer quality of the Eagle's palace.

Unfortunately remy is not the forward he was 2 years ago, always injured

Tbf, thinking about it, I make you right, I guess we are setting our sights a bit higher now!! but just maybe he's injury problems are because his chelski career is so stop start, he doesn't get a decent run of competetive games to keep him fit and sharp.

See what happend with Connor Wickham.

Linked with him for a couple of transfer windows and the first one we weren't linked with him and was expecting better players, we signed him.

We've been linked to players like Austin, Gomis and Remy in the past couple of season. Think the same thing that happend with Wickham will happen with one of these players. Out of them all, I would want Remy.
