Hello everyone, just a quick up date I am now in the Travel lodge on the A12 at Feering near Colchester. I won't be on line too much as getting the wifi is a bit difficult. But I will keep you in the loop as best I can . Went to Colchester council today as I said I was going to. News is they say I still own a home in Spain until everything is signed sealed and delivered on or around the 28th of July 2016. Basically they are saying I am fiddling the system to get accomodation. Tomorrow I go to Shelter to see where I stand, I am not fiddling the system I sold my place in Spain on or at the 11th of June 2016. Why the feck would I want to fiddle the system where would that get me, NOWHERE. My mobile phone number is 07896872180 in case of any info from anyone. I find it quite shocking that I did 13 years for my country, that I love by the way, to be treated basically like sh1t, but there you go I ain't the first I won't be the last, there are a lot of us, goodbye and thank you everyone for all your support.

Have you tried getting your mp involved , the press should pick up an ex vet with no where to go story .. x

My latest update at the moment is, I am in a caravan park in Dymchurch in Kent only cheap available accommodation I could get for a week. Limited wifi access so will get on line when and if I can, but have a bit of news. I have put £200 down on a privately rental flat in Sible Hedingham in Essex. So I hope to hear something soon, then, maybe this nightmare might just be over. I am glad I am in reasonable health otherwise it might have been a different story. I feel really sorry for people who have been homeless long term. They are right in what they say no one wants to help you, no one. I'm talking about the people in authority here, they just give you p1ss poor excuses all the time. Some of these people in authority should realise not all homeless people are p1ss heads and druggies, it could easily happen to any of us at a moments notice. I split up with my partner, neve thought for a second I would end up like this, now where abouts in my bag is that bottle of meths..............

Just an update on where I am now after my experiences of homelessness. I have now got a flat and moved in got my internet up and running. I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone on here for their suggestions and input over the past weeks. No thanks to the council, who really did not want to know, you just get shoved in one door out another. But, I found this place by myself just by searching, hard work but it paid off. It's warm, clean and now my home so I am happy. My experience of sleeping rougn in my car was not very nice, I do really feel for people who are homeless right now, they are not all p1ss heads and druggies, most are decent people down on their luck, as I was. Anyway, again many thanks to you all for all your help it was very, very much appreciated, thank you.
