I'd rather play a 4-6-0 formation than Campbell or Dempsey...

That said, I also thought that Sunderland signing Defoe was a terrible move...

That was a great bit of business by Sunderland, straight swap for Jozy 'Barndoor' Altidore.

A Paulo Di Canio signing at Sunderland for I think £6.5 Mill.

About 3 years ago, a current League manager mentioned about the lad turning up late for training and that he had a poor attitude.

From what I can remember, I think he had a poor scoring record in England.

Very funny and very true. Great recollection, Southampton Eagle.

At this point in his career I see Dempsey as more of a center forward in a CF-ST combo with a small speedy striker to run off of him. That's the role he thrived in with the US National Team this summer, but it's not something I think we're likely to see from Palace. I would've liked it if we had Gayle to run off of him, but with Gayle gone we'd need to bring someone in to partner him with.

"Here's Gayle! IT'S THREE - THREE! ASTONISHING!"

I'm sure we could find someone to partner with Dempsey. With Campbell injured now and Wickham having an injury history we need 2 more strikers anyway.

Looks like Morcormack is up for grabs. Spelling probably wrong but have Fulham got money problem?

Could replace him with James Wilson on 'Loan' from Man Utd.
