Stoke on loan for the season. Great signing for them.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Just out of interest, how did you plan to convince one of those 3 to sign for us to sit on the bench? Or the board to spend however much a week they are on for a player that won't start? Personally I'm delighted with the business done by the management and board and find it amazing that in spite the incredible signings, people are still finding ways to moan. Only at Palace.

It's called squard rotation and Bony/Remy can play just behind the striker so it would be bye to Punch playing there.

Wages are wages you got to pay them anyway and quality always costs more.

How was it moaning it was just crazy we didn't go for him wasn't someone asking about Wickham well he could of gone and this guy replace him.

Why we didn't get this guy is just crazy.

Who ever said he is a poorer Benteke you really need to go and do research and maybe watch some football he plays a different way.

Bony/Benteke/Remy now that would be some selection, Wickham sell him if can or use him as backup.

Watched him lots thanks at Swansea where some of my in laws are season ticket holders. I'm confident we've made the right decision in bringing in Remy and Benteke.

I'd say that there is no way that any of those three would sign if they expected to be rotated - they could do that at much bigger clubs. they came here to play football.

Wages are Wages makes no sense to me, you havent got to pay them if the player doesnt play for you? Why would we shell out 80k (if not more) a week for a rotation player? We are Crystal Palace.

And apologies if you weren't moaning but "Simple answer AP is going for players he has worked with ahead of others who might be better choice I think it's a control thing with him.

Why we didn't get this guy is just crazy." looks like a moan to me.

Rotation is apart of the game you do not play the same people for every game in all competitions well unless you are AP otherwise what is the point of a 25 man squad (you use different players when you come up against teams you need to change the tactics as well)as I pointed out in another post Bony and Remy can play behind the striker replacing Punch.

The more I read on here the more I see a lot of you really do not understand football you have such simple mindsets.

How is that a moan it's a fact and my opinion.

Yes rotation is a big part of the game, but so is not bankrupting your club. We are not and likely wont be for a long time, in a position to have people earning 100k a week sitting on the bench being rotated, that's a fact. The likes of Wickham are the types of player we will be able to rotate. And if you think that Benteke can play the role behind the striker then you are very much mistaken. His game is nothing to do with picking a pass and unlocking defences, same with Remy. They can only play in a team together in a 2 up front - same as if we signed Bony. A very different role to the one Punch is playing. Incidentally, I do think that Punch is likely to make way if we do play 2 up front - and also that he is the player most likely to be replaced by a signing tonight.

Fair enough, without differing opinions, sites like this would be totally redundant however your post did (in my opinion) come across as a moan.

Also, you cant tell people you are entitled to your own opinion and then accuse them of being simple and not understanding football if they have a different one to you. Especially if their opinion makes more sense than yours
